Houston Newborn Photographer | Modern Burlap Fresh 48 Session

So, you know how when you follow a really large baby swaddle company and you love all of their stuff and you kind of have a crush on how cool the owner/mom Samantha is and then that owner contacts you IN REAL LIFE to photograph HER Fresh 48 newborn session? EEK! I WAS SO EXCITED (and a little bit nervous if I’m honest!) because Samantha is the owner of Modern Burlap. THE Modern Burlap (I didn’t even know they were located in the Houston area)! And y’all, she was just as genuine and lovely a person in real life as she is on her social media accounts. She has that kind of spirit that radiates kindness — you just want to bottle it up, take it home with you and try and emulate it.

What I enjoyed was that Samantha and her hubby were super relaxed. You could tell this was baby BOY #3. :) They knew what they were doing and were happy to let me hold their sweet baby boy. He has a very cool name — Armor. Samantha wrote on her blog, “After his battle to get here and seeing his little face, we knew our baby boy needed a strong and bold name. Armor it was.
